There's a particular kind of magic to New York at sunrise, before the crowds, when the light is soft and gold and the whole city feels like it's holding its breath. That's exactly when I met Amir and Anna at Little Island. They've been together a deeply loving time, and on a trip to New York they couldn't wait to capture their love on camera. Choosing sunrise was the secret to this whole shoot. Little Island gets busy as the day goes on, but in those first golden hours it was peaceful and uncrowded, just Amir and Anna, the gardens, and the glowing skyline.
